Description of the organization and its target audience
I'd like to create a simple and fun logo for my sister Robin's 50th birthday. The theme will be around the American TV Show "The Amazing Race" as we will be doing a simplified hunt around the city and then end up at a celebration with family and friends. We are calling this event "R50" for Robin's 50th.
We would like to make R50 into a fun logo mark will be used on the digital invitation, a t-shirt, and knitted winter hat (see imagine below). The idea is for the logo to be small, portable, clever, and something you could wear long after the event.
We will send out invitations for a "Amazing Robin Fun Day" and want to include R50 mark with hints of the Amazing Race, but not revealing the surprise.

A successful mark will include:
1. Clear naming of "R50" that would be visible from 10 feet away on ski hat (the party is in November so we want to be warm)
2. Great designs will include a reference to show The Amazing Race without it being obvious. For this, I am thinking we use the colors (Gold and Red racing stripes) from the Amazing Race Route marker (the red on yellow):

***As a result, I will judge designs based on the designers ability to incorporate the gold and red stripe in the design.****
3. Would be great if this running person graphic is also used in the design. This graphic is special to Robin.

4. The font used should mimic the Amazing Race typeface.
5. Extra points for any other tasteful Amazing Race grace notes in the design. This could be arrows for "fast forward" or "speed bump"
I envision the logo being round so that it can easily be dropped on a hat (see the attached file for the style of hat we have in mind -- but different color) or even made into a button.

I will also need the logo in formats that can easily be used for having the hats made and using the asset on napkins and digital materials. CIRCLE DESIGNS ARE PREFERRED.

If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
Text in logos should be converted to outlines.
