Federal Signal Operating System
Slogan to incorporate in the logo
Three slogans of the operating system need to be spelled out within the design: 1) Theory of Constraints, 2) Lean, and 3) 80/20 Philosophy. The corporate logo of Federal Signal is a red FS which can be found on the website - http://www.federalsignal.com. The corporate FS logo can be incorporated into this logo design although it is not a requirement.
Description of the organization and its target audience
This new logo design will be used internally on all types of different materials, shirts, hats, etc. to promote the program. It will also be highlighted externally on many different websites with are either corporate or at the business unit level. Federal Signal is formalizing their operating system, and a similar example would be Danaher Business System. Danaher has a design around their logo with their slogans. Federal Signal's operating system would be similar so using the slogan to communicate the principals to the broader organization and externally as well.

If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
Text in logos should be converted to outlines.
