The logo is for our website ( in dutch http://www.blockk.nl in English http://www.blockk.co.uk).
We would like the idea of a block being used in the logo, but we want to give the freedom to come up with funny, modern ways to do so.
The most important thing about the logo is that is should be simplistic and modern ( because of our subject). We also want it to look authoritative.

If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
Text in logos should be converted to outlines.
