Instead of the linkedin url perphaps a qr code that links to the linkedin profile
Another option is a QR code that links to a info page on the company website.
Once we have this logo designed I would like to move on to a design for a website.

If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
