We buy, develop and manage agricultural assets (farms, processing facilities, water storage, etc.). Our target audience is investors and industry participants (farm suppliers, workers, etc.)

We want a logo that can be identified by a symbol as well as the words "South Island".
May want to incorporate some simplified images / vectors relating to agriculture such as rolling hills, water storage, plants or row crops (can be abstract). Could play with the idea of letters reversed or upside down. No machinery or buildings in logo.
Clear modern text with use of colour in main logo (with option for striking, black and white logo).
I have added some images of logos / images we like.
I have also added a few slides which explain more clearly what our company does.
Finally I have added a few rough sketches. Note we want the design overall to be square or close to square (so not an elongated rectangular logo).
"South Island" is a colloquial name for Australia where our company is owned and operates.

Final files
If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
Text in logos should be converted to outlines.
