Description of the organization and its target audience
Watershed is an upscale retail and dining destination currently under development. The brand-new area will feature outdoor shops, dining, recreation, and a modern apartment community. In addition, the Watershed Development will be complete with a beautifully landscaped central water feature where shoppers can gather for activities and concerts. This lively district will be on the top of everyone’s list for shopping and dining.
A watershed is an area from which water drains into a common area, such as a lake, reservoir, or other body of water. It is the geographical area of land that collects, stores, and transports water. Like water flowing to a lake, we envision the Watershed to be a location people will want to gather.

Our logo should be contemporary yet straightforward and recognizable. We are thinking of a stylized word and maybe an icon of some sort. These two marks should be able to stand alone or be paired together. We are open to ideas but were thinking of a flowing serif font. We are open to suggestions on color. The icon can use some sort of water reference maybe a stylized drop, some ripples, or a stream. It could also be a stylized W. We are totally open to your artistic interpretation.
WE DO NOT WANT ANY SORT OF BUILDING in our logo. We would like to have some sort of modern icon.
Think luxury, high class, swanky, lively. NOT cheesy, kitschy, boring, standard.

If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
