Not so this symbol: it starts at a point and develops forward so that the line ends further forward. The symbol breaks up the convention and inherits the clear impression of moving forward. The two 'T's if put together gives a very close exposure of the thing I was looking for. So, I did some sketching and came up with this layout. I used simple Black font for the text. I cut out a portion from the lower 'T', so that the arrow is easily distinguishable yet the T is readable.
Finally I polished the design up with some soft gradients.")

I needed a trending up arrow to incorporate in my design. The R directed its leg downwards and so I thought this is a good place for the arrow to start off. I ended the trail at the D, so It seems as though \"Trend\" is exposed much more here. After all, the company is about trending news.
Then I finalised my design with some contrasting colours. I used a medium bright orange for the R with the arrow. Otherwise I used a deep blue (close to the royal blue).
The font used is code bold, modified at some characters for the design to retain its language.")
