While the circles are outlined ( representing the holes ), the square is the only one that has a gradient foreground, rotated to a certain angle and placed a little bit higher than the circles. This is to put emphasis on it being distinct from the rest.
The square has a hint of orange in it to promote confidence and provide courage for the gifted to attain success.")

My late uncle was an architect of some renown and he could not give me a reason why when I was in art school that I could accept. His firm’s logo was to say the least very forgettable and over 40 years old when I was 22, a long time ago.
The logo as presented works well in many colour combinations, stands up when reduced in size and has enough strength to put on a sign in the middle of a dirty and visually noisy construction site. And its not trendy.
Even though it is just made up of a modified typeface it tells its story without unnecessary embellishments.")

I thought since this was technically an educational business, it could be interesting to use the home plate as a shield symbol in that context.")

Slightly Luxurious & stylish- The simple one line text only logo makes it easy to read therefore when applied onto products it can be recognised.
Trustworthy- in the logo what you see is what you get.
Modern- use of Futura font, clean, crisp and clear.
Another thought to add, when I first saw the business name it made me think of a baby lion (Leo) and a baby elephant (Ella) this is why I chose a pastel yellow for Leo and a pastel blue for Ella. With this in mind it brings a youthful and playful element to the logo.")
