Gratefuel is a food start-up in the process of developing delicious energy bars, made from all-natural ingredients. They are on a mission to fight hunger in the UK. With their customers, they give back to those in local communities who need a helping hand through food bank donations simply by making an everyday purchase, like buying a snack bar.
The brand name combines 'great fuel' for nutritious food and 'grateful' for essentials like food, which was reflected in the logo's negative space. The packaging features illustrations of travelers exploring Glasgow's landmarks, symbolizing the strength of good nutrition and our gratitude for nature's beauty.")

For Thrival’s high-performance energy bar, I developed a military-inspired wrapper that balances rugged appeal with clear product messaging. Working within a dark color palette—deep olive greens, charcoal greys, matte blacks and metallic accents—I explored texture motifs from classic camo patterns to brushed-metal highlights and flat graphic panels. This design showcases Thrival’s core benefits—instant + sustained energy and enhanced mental focus—while reinforcing the brand’s tactical, mission-ready positioning for military personnel and elite athletes.
