The client needed something modern and clean that said \"Limoo\" in an absolute minimalistic manner with an abstract logo that could convey their services and background values. And hence this logo was born.
The word \"Limoo\" immediately brings up an image of a lemon to one's mind and with it comes the imagination of something refreshing, zingy and energetic! Hence the bright yellow with the white to create for that zing contrasted with the dark grey and the black to maintain aesthetic balance. The \"lemon\" monogram relates to the \"Limoo\" name and the tech-looking lines representing a circuit convey the IT and Electronic Music production related values of the client's brand.")

Some of the designs sparked a resemblance of the 1920’s style, modernised in a new way. This is where I sourced inspiration for my design development. My initial final design was inspired by the angled lines that is commonly seen in beautifully articulacy decorated 1920’s posters. I further developed the idea by reflecting these angled lines to create this triangular shape to create a modern symbol.
I designed the typography to be spaced out to add to the expensive high-end feel, as this is commonly seen in higher-end brands. I chose to design a san serif type to keep the design clean, modern and minimalistic. The “A’s” in the type is simplified by not including the cross over in the middle to imitate and relate to the triangular symbol. I feel this adds cohesion with the typography and the symbol, drawing together the whole logo and further adding to the modern theme.")

Since the organization is catering to pilots and their crew exclusively, why not have something that represents the industry well and looks iconic. I gave the wings a modern look while keeping the icon recognizable to those both in and out of aviation. In your document you gave some references to what logo mark CrewBase needed. I combined a modern elegant design with some abstract styling. I chose to go with a gold color scheme since yellow and gold are representative of optimism, honor, loyalty, and traditional. The logo mark itself is meant to be used with type and standalone as a symbol for CrewBase. The logo is meant to last the test of time since it doesn’t reply on trends to make it standout, but focusing on being an icon. The typography for the logo is a san serif meant to give off a clean polish look for the brand.")
