It is a resemblance to the movement the conductor does to indicate a four-beat tempo. (I apologize I'm not educated enough on music to articulate it better).
Its uniqueness is made so the icon stands for itself without the need for the wordmark, meaning it can be used solely and still represent the entity.
It's designed strongly on the very dynamic aspect the client briefed about.
The strong red is chosen specially to represent the passion part of what the entity is and what it does. It's bright, energizing and beautiful. Also, the red pick is based on pictures I've collected from Esslingen city. I noticed a considerable number of red elements on those pictures.
Lastly, as requested in the briefing, it's a color that works on both bright and dark backgrounds without the need to adjusting or even falling back on white to work on dark enviroments.")

They wanted a shield logo to be used on commemorative jerseys and tournament prizes.
At first glance it should be elegant and formal, but when looking at the details they looked for fun elements.
We include different graphics related to the competition:
1. Stone of Accord in Kinsale
2. A glass of Guinnees beer
3. The silhouette of the players
4. A person on the floor after drinking more than they should
In this way we managed to create that contrast between fun and sophistication, also illustrating all the elements in a unique and personal way.")
