What we're looking for in a logo:
Lumo's hardware is FUN and EASY to use, and provides families with PEACE OF MIND about the HEALTH/HAND HYGIENE of all members (particularly KIDS under 14). We want a FRIENDLY FIREFLY to represent Lumo, the design of which should be PLAYFUL but SIMPLE with minimal colors so we can use it in various media, including screen printing an outline on our bottle. Seeing the Lumo logo should give PARENTS PEACE OF MIND ABOUT THEIR CHILDRENS' HAND HYGIENE.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
Our target audience are the parents of young children, ages 3-14, who are already concerned with their hand hygiene habits and can afford a ~$30 soap dispenser. They frequently purchase new items online from social media advertising, and want to make the world a better place for their children.")

Two crossed swords reinforce the idea of protection, battle-readiness, and determination, aligning with the word “Aegis” (which historically means shield or protection).
The typography balances toughness and style: “AEGIS” is large, strong, and commanding, while “INNOCENCE” below it contrasts in a smaller, elegant style, emphasizing the duality of the concept.
Overall, the logo conveys the message: innocence protected by strength, a symbol of defending purity with power, resilience, and courage.")

I wanted the llamas to remain as four legged animals. On that line, since llamas don't have thumbs, I incorporated a \"like glove\". This opens up plenty of other possibilities to play around with different gestures.
I added textures to make the llamas pop in contrast to the social media content.
I provided 2 options, with and without outlines since both seemed interesting for the application on the website.")
