To emphasis the the ‘steel blue’ that was asked for, a brushed steel effect has been added for texture in both the front & rear panels with a darker & simpler version for the arms and side panels.
The logo is large, fresh, crisp and bold to easily show what the jersey is for. The route maps have been added in tertiary colours from the old logo. These are highlighted with drop shadows and outlining.
This version is an evolution of the previous design concepts and has a bolder 'Bluff City Blues Ride' logo to help it stand out more clearly. This is done with layered drop shadows and multiple stroke effects.
The maps on the rear of the jersey have also had extra outlined colours and shadow to help highlight these stand out clearly.")

The new font PRESLEY SLAB has been used. This is a flowing font that is less formal. Due to the new font use, a new logo was needed on the front which also needed to be in new colours and utilise new shapes.
After the new font and the removal of the mountain bike an overhaul of the background was needed. A new vector based brush metal effect has crisped up & brightened up the design.
The rear of the jersey has had similar updates with the logo, fonts and background but it also has be simplified slightly. The drop shadows have been reduced & fonts altered to fit the design.
