The blue sky represents the paint flowing from the brush which is the overall shape of the logo. The logo name Brighton is within the canvas which is the park while the text “Art in the Park” is on the handle of the paintbrush which represents the community as the one painting Brighton as a colorful place.")

The eagle represents authority, credibility, trust and power and was given to those of ingenuity and distinction.
A simple and open rounded font in medium weight seems appropriate here - it is easily accessible and unchallenging which is needed as the eagle provides plenty of challenge (a challenging logo is memorable) the slogan is slightly more decorative to add balance.

This is partnered with a clean, almost futuristic font, designed to look good together with the logo.
