Meanwhile, I add cross swords to echo the Roman numeral for 10. While elaborate, I wanted the mark to also be simple, so the negative space is given room to breathe, suggesting a landscape beyond, and perhaps a fresh beginning.")

With such a large size paper pack the decision was made to start chapters where ever they fell, rather than the traditional right or left page starts.
My choice of fonts were based on the popular fonts used in the 70s and 80s for interior books, which is the time frame of the book.
