The E is dropped as unnecessary. The font a modern revival of Schelter & Giesecke's original Breite halbfette Grotesk,

The book is about a girl who in darkness becomes a monster. She tries to hide this fact, but falls under the watch of shadowy secret agents. Eventually, friends and family rescue her, and it transpires that they are all monsters, too.
