As the client does a lot of building, and a lot of roofing, one piece he would like incorporated into his logo is a small man on a roof line swinging a hammer against the roof, facing the roof. This is something that he thinks will add attraction, and although A.M. Construction is a name that can cover many different services, we do a lot of roofing. This man on the roof will show that A.M. Construction's workers are up on the roof and offering that service without putting it in writing.")

As the brand name suggest (and making a continuity with previous designed logo for the same client) the idea was to represent quite literally the business activity.
To improve the trustness of the logo, it was decided to use a familiar color scheme (after doing a brief research of the common colors uses in this type of business).
