The client titled it as 'Mascot of the Year' and they are based in China, I thought a cute pig would be a relevant choice this is its year.
Rarely do this type of design, but I think I've tried my best. Sketched the concept character in the Affinity Photo and went for inking and coloring in Affinity Designer. The result was quite imperfect if looking closer due to several unconnected gaps in the inking and some jagged strokes. But due to time constraints and drained stamina, I had to stop and this was the result.
I never thought to ever win the contest, I just hope I could satisfy myself first in the field of mascot design before satisfying the client because this is my first time doing online side service after the longest pause, so I was quite proud of it, oh Terry the Piggy :D")
