The design was tweaked in last stage, but you can see a coffee cup being formed with the 0 and 5 with a steam coming out. A thermometer is shown in the upper half of the badge, having various temperatures displayed.
The main detail is the degree symbol, wich highlight the ideal temperature (orange color) wich happens to be the same as the steam in the coffee cup.")

So, instead of thinking just about the logo I thought about the overall branding and took a different approach here.. like later there would be labels according to the flavors for the drinks. Hence, used these 'asterisks' - shapes can be associated with botanical - which individually can represent each flavor on bottles, labels, etc.
