At the beginning, it was just some cute skulls with pig tails and bones crossed (That's how he called it \"Cupcake Crossbones\"). It was meant to be T-shirt application. As the time went by, the client wasn't really sure what would be the next step or which direction to take so we ran around in circles, trying to reinvent the wheel while making some confusing concepts.. After while, it just came to me that we should simply take what we already have and mix it up with pop culture somehow. The client agreed and that was it.
Right now I'm making sketches for more than 30 new skull characters, including Marilyn Monroe, Capt. Jack Sparrow, Cersei, Mad Hatter, Daenerys etc. All great icons of pop culture.
So, stay tuned, there's more to come. :)")

For this project, I decided to incorporate several custom made elements in order to give it a unique personality. It's pretty challenging task because the client asked for a mix of greek and norse mythology for the design. So, I merged real photos and digital painting for the background to convey the unique greek x norse feeling.
I also had fun sketching custom elements in this one like the Hermes poporing and the icons for the register and login buttons.")
