If you look at an individual element that forms the mark, it is also an abstraction of hand (\"holding\" the rights) but the overall shape is interlocked which represents the patents being secured and the whole process taken care of in one place. It also suggests rotational movement (the INNOVATION).
The way or style in which this is all shaped is very precise and symmetrical - as technology in fact is.")

The design was curated based on modern, corporate and clean typeface customized to be functional as an icon as well as full text. The iconic mark utilizes the business acronym CP while cleverly incorporating a forward facing digital arrow.")

Catalyst approached me for their logo design.
When we did the search within this industry and geographical radar we felt their industry and competitors were a bit different in looks and there were very few common denominators when it came down to branding for each.
When we approached the logo we wanted to keep simplicity, meaning and feeling on top. To achieve feeling it was vital to have a focal design element. Next we wanted to give a subtle reference to the acronym too.
I presented 5-6 logo examples and Catalyst really loved 2 of them. After a couple of revisions finally decided on a clean corporate style design that was easy to use, reproduce and remembered.")
