Clients wanna a typography focused cover, so I decided take ‘Pontiac Inline’ font for the title and ‘Felix Titling’ font for subtitle and author.

As I won't be specifically using the word \"shooting\" in the blurb, the cover will need to convey it instead. No gore.\"

A minimal yet powerful cover that conveys the subject the story visually.
The paper and typewriter font suggests the context of 'high school' in the story; sporadic bullet holes with blood stains to suggest the tragic event of the mass shooting.")

The eagle represents authority, credibility, trust and power and was given to those of ingenuity and distinction.
A simple and open rounded font in medium weight seems appropriate here - it is easily accessible and unchallenging which is needed as the eagle provides plenty of challenge (a challenging logo is memorable) the slogan is slightly more decorative to add balance.
