The text is a custom creation where I created it to have a slight slant considering the word \"KICKSTART\". The arrows that from the K's are to further illustrate movement along with the subtly widening gaps between the slanted lines. I gave the text bold outlines and small highlights to help it pop a bit more. The racer mascot was created to have a look of readiness and confidence. Although it tends toward the more masculine side, I created it to be gender neutral and without a specific skin color given the diversity of the community it should be representing. I also placed the mascot on the left side of the text to add further balance to the overall logo.")

The app is mainly used outdoors, to communicate with the users who are employed by an event. Think of the road marshals directing traffic, security people at gates, helpful volunteers giving directions, etc. Because it's mainly outdoors, graphics need to be bold and clear, and buttons larger than normal, to allow for sunlight (and rain!).")
