Cause when it's not done properly, it will end up with messy/crowded design. The client wanted a flat style design, it was a good direction as it is a complex information on a map. I redrew the maps to adapt the style, it's not the \"real\" shape of the actual maps. To make it simpler i redrew the maps with 0, 45, 90 degrees lines. As only a map alone is boring, i added some flat style illustrations of city landmarks, surfing man, boats, sharks, so the overall design looks fun and attractive.")
