Teff is a kind of is an grass, native to Ethiopia and Eritrea. The seeds of this plant are getting very popular in todays kitchen. The reference to the origin of it was my idea during my first sketches. This is how this idea evolved into the modern and organic design. They received a donation of a large quantity of nice wine, which need a label. The women they help walk all day in the heat. They carry goods such as; water, nuts, pineapples, etc... on their heads.
They were looking for an abstract piece of art (oil painting style) that depicts the women carrying their goods. Goal was to get a nice label that helps tell the story of these women. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the wine bottles will be going directly to the mothers and their children. The art (the label) will hopefully inspire people to bid more on the special edition bottles we are making.")
