Task was to redesign Beard Commander logo, which is loved and respected in big community of supporters, so failure wasn't an option. With new style, colors and lettering logo still features bearded skull, shears and razor original was known for, this time redrawn & packed in more compact design with badass look. Original badge is expanded to one more layout, and additional logo version for light backgrounds is created for more cohesive brand appearance. This goes straight to personal favourites!")

Maybe a stretch but trident facing down carries a bit of inital letter M, which client loved. Design is done in precise, almost geometric style, but we ended up with additional version where bottom part mimics water reflection.")

It is a fully custom, handwritten wordmark with simple and cute dog within. Featuring light beige and darker navy colorway, design is unique and easily memorable. I went with generic dog face so it apeals to every dog lover out there. As a bonus, dog silhouette ends with ribbon/scarf like feature, adding to concept and product itself. That's why i decided to use as my main design element a Rorschach inkblot. The inkblot was painted from scratch in Photoshop. I think the shape, apart from the meaning of it, conveys a sense of mystery that suits the genre perfectly.")

One of the requests from the author was to include the figure of an \"eccentric duck\" in a dinner table eating sushi. With a complex photomanipulation I was able to create such character, giving it a positive appearance but without having a cartoonish style. Some details like the hat and the bow tie helped to give it a more \"human\" personality.
Just to add a final touch, the landscape on the background also intensified how improbable would be such scenery.")

Paired with modern lettering in dark charcoal shade, this logo pops from the page and is easy to remember, while managing to escape the obvious in the industry, which both me and clients liked.")
