A front view from the lake did not give me enough space to add all the requested elements. So I have changed the angle of view too sideward, an idea that was widely followed by other designers. I have used 16 images and blended them seamlessly together to create a new one. Although, nothing is real, I did my research well and selected only pictures from that region to obtain the authentic look. I spend days getting the details right. The rowing boat, neon sign, silhouette, flag, and lighthouse are all elements that contribute to the overall atmosphere of the design, but also the lighting, shadowing and the added contrast.")

He just passed a little wooden bridge over a narrow river and he is enjoying playing his tune. Even the black bear under the bridge is taken aback by the tune and has forgotten to eat the fish he just caught. The vivid and colorful springtime nature had to be highlighted in the illustration with all the sunshine, colors, flowers, and numerous birds and bees.")

Nothing of the design is real: two different beaches, two different seas, shadow, clouds, even the boy consist of 4 different pictures. Blending this all seamlessly together and using vintage, retro, color and light effects created this special atmosphere for the book.")
