The clients wanted something that looked raggedy, cool, rough, basically punk and masculine. So I designed a punk man as a mascot, with very basic outlines, like a stencil. The word \"Scrappy\" was handwritten by me. I was inspired by some of the 1950-70's neon signs. The surrounding circle was made to look like the markings left on a table by a glass of beer or something rather grubby and smudgy. I wanted the whole logo to look and feel cool and rough, like a punk.")
