The Greeks are best known for their lively, outgoing nature, hospitality and generosity, but also for their sophisticated sculpture and architecture- large stone columns and stone buildings. There are three major types of Greek columns, which is represented in the logo with three palm trees. These palm trees are made from three combined segments and resemble three main parts of the Greek columns - the base, shaft and capital. To support the cozy look, I avoided using sharp shapes and jagged lines in the design.
I chose pastel colour palette to create the cozy vibe. However, the cyan colour of the car wouldn't strong enough to attract the focus from the viewer if it was printed on white T-Shirt. So, to compensate with that, I incorporated brighter colour i.e yellow disguised as the sun that acted as background to add contrast to the composition.
I used bold lines with rounded edges to give the image cartoony feel and thus felt more friendly. Yet, I didn't want to over do it that would make the design too childish to be used by adult.
I also placed the car and the texts relatively at the centre of the sun to keep the composition visually balanced.")
