I wanted to create something fierce and striking while still simple and approachable. I created feminine eyes for my octopus that still had an intense gaze. To give it a fun feel, I used only purples for the colors and kept a rounded profile for the octopus. Most of its tentacles are curled in to symbolize someone making a fist or flexing. The arm gripping the ball is supposed to be its shooting arm cocked back like a sling shot. the front straight tentacle is for stabilization. I wanted to give this octopus proper shooting form")
