The expressiveness is borne only of angles, and concerns what is quintessentially Viking. Irregular. Forceful. Ominous. Battle-hardened.")

While elaborate, I wanted the mark to also be simple, so the negative space is given room to breathe, suggesting a landscape beyond, and perhaps a fresh beginning.")

The target group includes young and older men (20-60). The brand stands for the new age man role model.

Perhaps nowhere was this so obvious than in the violent ring of the coliseum. There existed a space of permission for man — otherwise to master his own impulses — to be animal. In battle, the gladiators often bore in the visage of animals. The mask was fundamental, not only for protection (the heavy helmet), but to allow the element of pure violence to be expressed. I'm not a gamer, but the phenomenon interests me, and echoes the coliseum in numerous ways. Masks are inherent to the gaming phenomenon, so I wanted to evoke this, and give it an air of mystery, and animality. As though that relation, between man and animal, in himself, is eternal. I wanted the mark to be bold, masculine, but also silent.")
