During the research phase of the project, it became clear that the client found two types of logos attractive: a memorable wordmark or a logo with a separate symbol. I created a logo that gave him both - and he loved the result as much as I did.
The iconic symbol combines two circular shapes that create the initial letter \"B\" with an abstract leaf in the center. The leaf works perfectly as a symbol for health and beauty. This design proposal combines a dynamically curved thread with an embroidery needle, creating the initial letters \"U\" and \"S\" for \"Urbane Stickerei\". The needle in the centre of the action is itself part of the \"U\" and is surrounded by the \"S\".
The client liked this design, but decided to go with a different concept from me that had an even simpler and iconic symbol, making it even more suitable for use on social networks. You can see the final approved logo here:
