We asked ourselves – how do we leverage the carbon markets to create a revenue stream to help pay for emission reduction technology?
Our first solution – we lease solar powered chemical injection pumps to replace older methane emitting pumps. Methane is some 22x more dangerous as a greenhouse gas than CO2, so emissions clearly need reducing. The chemical injection is needed to assure consistent operations of oil or gas wells. By replacing older pumps with new zero-emissions pumps at no cost to the oil & gas producer we provide a solid business case. We achieve this by using carbon credit revenue to cover the lease cost of the solar powered chemical injection pump.")
