They wanted a new vintage-style logo to bring focus on their deviled crabs first, as well as the history of the company, with the option of expanding their product line later on.
I came up with a stamp-style Dickie's logo for a classic feel, giving a sense of quality or \"approval\" to the brand. The crab is hand-drawn with ink then digitized to create an authentic ink-stamp effect.
The \"Deviled Crabs\" part of the name is made significantly smaller than the primary name of the company to help with the addition of other products later on, giving it less emphasis and making it easier to expand to other seafood products.")

To start I familiarized myself with the shape of the object by drawing it from various angles then experimented by adding color in. The end result is a combination of a sketch and a watery patch of color. For the champagne flute the process was pretty straight forward as this item would look the same from any angle. To finish it off I included a drop of water to tie the pattern together.")
