The SDR has been constructed literally from scratch. Instead of modifying an existing font, this way I was able to arrive at a consistent and distinct look. The precise curves and sharp angles are reminiscent of bent/formed steel constructions and are obviously related to engineering in style - this alone carries the story and message behind the wordmark.")

The design is mostly developed in-browser. I also worked with the client to develop the textual content, and in the capacity of art direction for images and overall UI/UX. The site is built under the Wordpress framework with firm eye to ease of client use and scalability. It is fully responsive. As to the design, the goal was to retain a clean and minimalist feel, while adding edge and distinctiveness in the imagery.
