BRIEF
Client: \"I am looking to create a logo to represent my dad. His nickname is Big Train and I've used to be a professional baseball player.
He's from Buffalo, NY and always enjoyed the actual animal buffalo. Was thinking some sort of combination of a train locomotive and a buffalo / bison would be really neat and unique.\"
DESIGN PROCESS
I started by looking for information and references about buffalos, trains and especially about Ray \"Big Train\" Peters' career.
Once I had enough information, I created the first samples and sent them to the client.
He was very satisfied with the design. He just asked for some subtle changes.
After receiving the samples with the changes that he requested, we closed the project.
He loved the logo so much that he asked me to also do the Ray \"Big Train\" Peters website.")

\"Frozen Rope\" is a Major League Baseball term that means hard hit line drive.
BRIEF
Client: \"I like a strong, inviting character that people can connect with that's swinging the bat. And text.\"
DESIGN PROCESS
After some messages with the client we thought it would be a good idea for the character to use a rope as a bat.
During the design process I came up with the idea to make the rope appear frozen on top. This would complete the visual representation of \"Frozen Rope\".
The client was very happy with the first samples and it only took a few final adjustments to complete the project.")

DESIGN PROCESS
I started the design process by researching the Walleye Fish. I needed to discover what it looked like and what its characteristics were.
A very distinctive feature of this fish is the forward jaw and teeth, so I represented that in the mascot.
