This small business helps parents and children dealing with the local Department of Human Services Agency through family advocacy, supervised visitations, and more.
My Approach:
In the design, I incorporated four elements related to the company: Parents, Child, Heart, and Shield, as shown in the presentation. For more information on the logo's meaning and philosophy, please zoom in on the presentation.
Originally, I planned a professional color scheme of two or three colors for the logo, but the client wanted it to be colorful and friendly since it also deals with children. I created a new color scheme to meet the client's requirements, and they approved it.

The design was inspired on their logo and website. I used white against black and vice-versa to create contrast. The black background suggests a more serious look, and the orange details make it more friendly. The font had to be clear and professional, because even though their comapany has a modern logo and style the design is about a law seminar, so I thought it should look professional enough to their audience attend their event.")

For each conference we like to incorporate something from the location in the logo. Logos from previous La Jolla, CA conferences featured elements such as: ocean waves, dolphin, sun beams, and the California Republic bear.
The logo will appear on event communication, signage, laminated badges, .ppt slides, etc. The logo and its colors should look crisp and clean in print, digital, signage and projected onto a large screen.
While our industry is education we want to avoid a child-ish or elementary vibe. Conference attendees are sophisticated professionals.")

Being that the client´s business name is its own, Dr. Jürgen Kadel, the main guideline of the concept was that it should be a fusion between the initials of the Dr´s name. This technical choice is generally known as being both elegant and serious, thus keeping a timeless modern look.")
