DESIGN PROCESS
I started by looking for information and references about bees, construction workers, and muscular men in order to create a character with a strong presence.
Once I had enough information, I created the first samples and sent them to the client.
He was very satisfied with the design and asked me if I could also do an alternative version with a black / dark gray helmet.
The next thing we did was to test different shades of yellow (lighter, darker, more orange, more yellow, etc.) until we found the ideal color for this design.
Once the client was 100% satisfied with the design, we closed the project.")

BRIEF
Florida FBLA-PBL was looking for a theme / identity for a new event called \"Level Up\" so they decided to survey their members to find out what they think \"Level Up\" represents.
Their responses were the main inspiration for this design.
Some of the survey results:
- An arcade machine
- Stairs, an arrow going up
- Video game characters going to the next level
- Retro-looking / sort of neon colors
- Some kind of reference to Florida
DESIGN PROCESS
I started with the arcade machine, making it the centerpiece of the design.
On the arcade screen I included a nod to the classic video game Mario Bros. To move to the next level, Mario must always climb some climbers and jump to the flag.
I completed the design by adding Florida elements and giving it that retro look with the neon colors.

Client: \"I want a character that is easily recognizable, copyrightable, and yet complex enough to distinguish our company at first site. We are thinking of some version of a screaming goat as a logo.\"
DESIGN PROCESS
Following the client's suggestion in the brief, I decided to work on the concept of a screaming goat.
They asked me if I could create a goat with sunglasses to make it look cooler, but after several tests we realized that the crazy eyes (which he has in the final version) work better.
Near the end of the project I had the idea of placing the goat on the top of a mountain so that it really seemed like it was screaming at the top of its lungs from there and they loved the idea.")

I started by looking for information and references about firefighters, badges of firehouses, etc.
Crossed axes were something that was present in the original logo, so I decided to keep it but improve it with a better design.
An important detail is that the helmet at the top of the logo has the number of the fire station next to the tavern.
The client loved the design.

DESIGN PROCESS
Since gaming and exercise are activities that nobody usually thinks are related to each other, the challenge of this project was to represent both in the same design and that it makes sense.
The concept that I presented to the client was the idea of a character who is clearly a gamer, playing video games with one hand and exercising with the other. This made it seem like it was fun and easy to do.
The client loved the concept.
The only thing left to do is some color tests and different expressions on the character's face until we find the perfect match.")

I started the design process by doing some research to understand the style of sports bar logos.
Then I started sketching, keeping NY and sports in mind as the main keywords for inspiration.
I checked with clients to find out what they thought about adding NY landmarks / elements to the logo and they agreed.
I sent them the first samples and they loved the concept, but they wanted to explore different color palettes for that design.
We did some tests until we found the color palette they wanted.")

The first step was to research online about the client to know him more in depth.
As a basketball player he had a classic pose that he frequently did in photos (flexing his biceps) so he decided to capture that image in the logo.
I looked for reference photos and started working on the design.
I created a sporty style logo that also offers different variations to be used in different situations.
The client loved the logo so much from the first samples that it was not necessary to make any corrections to the design.")

So with that in mind, I created a concept where a blacksmith is forging a joystick as if it were a hot piece of metal.

DESIGN PROCESS
I started by looking for photos and visual references of \"athletic\" women.
I sent the client different photos of women with different athletic body styles (from slim athletic to bodybuilding style) so that he can point out exactly what is the athletic body type that he would like to be represented in the logo.
Once the body type was identified, the rest was quite easy.
I sent him some samples and he loved the design.
We did some color and font testing and that was it. We close the project pretty quickly.

After some messages with the client we thought it would be a good idea for the character to use a rope as a bat.
During the design process I came up with the idea to make the rope appear frozen on top. This would complete the visual representation of \"Frozen Rope\".
