The style they wanted was rustic, yet modern and hip. The client used the phrase \"That a barista would be proud to tattoo in his arm\". So from this I kept in mind the tattoo look. It would have to be something not too complex and preferably single coloured. So I designed this logo, which involves the profile view of a Stout tap serving the coffee in a Pint glass. After watching a video of the client pouring the coffee I noticed the curves and swirls of brown and cream that formed when hitting the bottom of the glass and I though that would be a good graphic effect to include in the logo, giving it dynamism and character. I used brown as the main colour because of the use of coffee.")
