Some of the designs sparked a resemblance of the 1920’s style, modernised in a new way. This is where I sourced inspiration for my design development. My initial final design was inspired by the angled lines that is commonly seen in beautifully articulacy decorated 1920’s posters. I further developed the idea by reflecting these angled lines to create this triangular shape to create a modern symbol.
I designed the typography to be spaced out to add to the expensive high-end feel, as this is commonly seen in higher-end brands. I chose to design a san serif type to keep the design clean, modern and minimalistic. The “A’s” in the type is simplified by not including the cross over in the middle to imitate and relate to the triangular symbol. I feel this adds cohesion with the typography and the symbol, drawing together the whole logo and further adding to the modern theme.")
