It was great fun to create this very nice luxury branding for Claire with it’s
signature style monogram logo I’ve created. Love the energy of the Initials together and it´s true elegance. I focused on a clean, elegant soft style.

I decided to have flowing, wrapping chains around the knife in which we can see a reflection of the main character. To give it a nice fantasy vibe, I added the glowing light effects in the background while making the image pop.")

I rendered the model's body, including wings, in Daz 3D and added the head of the woman that the author used images of in her previous book covers. I tried my best to match the body's lighting with that of the woman's head to make her look realistic. A whole bunch of painting was also required to add shadow from her hair that was partially taken from stock images, too.
Long, flowy fabrics were added to the model's dress and bent where I wanted them to flow to.
The character should have silver rune tattoos on her arms and palms. I added two magical rune symbols above her hands to show off magical abilities.
To add more drama, there are loose feathers flowing in the wind towards the viewer which also create more depth.")

The artwork will fit a story of an Asian girl with a connection to dragons and their power of fire.
The character is posed and lit with the 3D app, Daz3D, which enables plenty of flexibility with changing poses, light and expression, especially good for future books of a series.")

Challenge accepted. I took the M and made a typical Art Deco Palmtree in the middle and I added the Umlaut dots from the Ü – not typically in horizontal – but vertically.

Angular shapes vs circular, city vs nature, male vs female, structured/straight vs organic/free-flowing.
I used beautiful images which I’ve treated to match the organic theme and color palette. A darker green to express the mysteries of the forest/plant medicine, nature and shamanism. A lighter green and yellow as complimentary accent colors and iconography that match the spiritual theme. I used plenty white space and “headroom”, inspiring a feeling of freedom, lightness and room to grow.")

I started with the wordmark design. I used a stencil type based on US military letters used on crafts in WWII. For the maiden word, I put together a vintage display lettering with embellishments to both add contrast and pull the whole design together. I'm still working on the skeleton eagle illustration, but I wanted to put something up to get feedback before the first round ended.")

I changed the letters \"D\" and \"J\" as well as the ampersand to give a more readable fluidity. I also changed the letter \"S\" in standing to have a slightly more ornate appearance. I repositioned the try to give a rectangular appearance to the design as a whole. I then redrew the character mark as a more illustrative vector. The face just wasn't working on a dark background as an inverse so I added an oval and a stroke to that version. For the slogan, I created text on a path then drew a banner around it.")

I went back to the vintage red character mark as well and added a gold version that looks amazing on black t-shirts (especially soft vintage/heather styles). I tried a few variations of the layout but kept all of the elements as separate branding items so you can mix and match based on the marketing and promotional area you have to use for your logo and brand design and any other needs.")
