The logo design was set to be a calligraphic style of the Kanji Midori: 緑 (みどり). After a few calligraphic styles we settled to this interpretation.")

Isn't that boring? :p we need to jump out of the boring box!
The restaurant is located on Portland Oregon, which is known for it's white Stag, so I came up with the idea to incorporate Portland, noodle and Japanese vibe into one single logo. A negative space of a stag with noodle horn on abstract Japanese ink wash (Ensō) background will do the work, with mugen kanji strokes to emphasize on Japanese vibe. A lot more Simple iconic and memorable than just bowl and noodle right? :)")

Catherine Forte is a singer-songwriter, musician, and performer. Born into a musical family, she has been writing her own music and performing since the age of twelve. In French, the word for strong is 'forte'. And The French meaning of her name Catherine is pure, or clear. Together, it means \"pure strength\".
Based on that, I decided to go with realistic visual approach to depict strength and maturity, combined with fresh and dynamic animation to give down to earth feels, and the outcome is very satisfying :)

This artwork is focusing on fundamental aspects of our shared humanity; Tolerance, cooperation, inclusion, unity and respect for diversity. Help us to understand and intelligently respond to the complexity of who we are, how we live and what we value most. Which I tried to depict in an illustration of a singular being, because yes, we are different, but we stand as ONE: Creatives.
