Tell people that you want to give up smoking and you get unparalleled support, but if you tell even someone close to you that you have a drink problem, they can get panicky and uncomfortable. Socially, there is much more shame around being addicted to alcohol than cigarettes.
Also, help is hard to come by. Smoking and obesity issues are well funded by the NHS, but alcohol, despite costing the system millions each year, is poorly supported. GPs have very few options to offer people who come seeking help.")

This is a story about the search for a magic sword, which needed to figure prominently on the cover. The descriptions of the author leaded to a Viking style, with a touch of horror and almost alien feel.
In the design I wanted to transmit that the sword had special characteristics, a unique piece, that would seem almost “alive”.
However it wasn’t easy to decide where the main details should be placed, in order to keep it “usable”, as it were a real sword that is meant to be handled and strong enough to fight a battle.
The eyes in the background and the big red moon helped to give the desired impact.")

When we did the search within this industry and geographical radar we felt their industry and competitors were a bit different in looks and there were very few common denominators when it came down to branding for each.
When we approached the logo we wanted to keep simplicity, meaning and feeling on top. To achieve feeling it was vital to have a focal design element. Next we wanted to give a subtle reference to the acronym too.
I presented 5-6 logo examples and Catalyst really loved 2 of them. After a couple of revisions finally decided on a clean corporate style design that was easy to use, reproduce and remembered.")
