The Lokatorium is a planned business, culture and innovation centre on the site of the former Riedel & Sohn distillery in Altdöbern, located directly in the town centre and in close proximity to the castle and Lake Altdöbern.
The diverse tenant and visitor structures will enable new synergies and collaborations that will become increasingly self-sustaining and self-reinforcing. The Lokatorium thus bundles economic and cultural resources in the region, promotes and strengthens them and develops impulses and offers for Lusatia and the neighbouring metropolises. The Lokatorium will save a piece of industrial heritage from decay and at the same time transform it into new utilisation concepts, creating a lively place for encounters, innovation and value creation.
