I am targeting a personal / professional blog. As an executive coach and organizational psychologist in the corporate world I want to place to build a brand and reputation. I will be attracting both corporate business professionals, college students, and other psychologists. I hope it to be a place of insight, discussion and experiences regarding human behavior, people, emotions, change, etc..

I want it to be modern yet professional. I want people to feel the human factor that both attracts and inspires people. Calming, yet masculine colors and easy to navigate (Darkers colors, avoid lots of plain whites). Stock pictures of calming scenes, diverse but attractive people, academic psychology pictures, etc...

I plan to write 200-500 word blogs a couple times a week. So I would like a easy way to see the last few blogs and easy to navigate post blogs. I would like a picture to be associated with each blog post. A place to learn about myself and how to contact me. Easy links to facebook and Linkedin websites. I do not need a store. I would like a section for recommended books, and a section for recommended videos. The main section I would like to be the recent blogs. Also a section for the "why" behind human influence.

Some white is okay, but not a lot. Pictures of people are good, but not one that is the main center point Do not want it to look like a news article or news site With the limited sections, drop downs are probably not nessesary
