2. About (DESIGN):this page is for background and info of the company (build credibility)
i. Vision: To enable high volume additive manufacturing through optimized materials.
ii. Mission: Adaptive3D is the premium additive manufacturing polymer resin supplier. We partner with global leaders to deliver solutions for functional end use products and prototypes.
iii. History: Adaptive 3D was founded in 2014 when it became clear that our proprietary materials could solve interface chemistry problems in 3D printing. Essentially, we found we can print plastics and rubbers that are as strong in the vertical direction as in the other directions that are tough enough for oil wells, tennis shoes, car parts, and space shuttles. Armed with this capability, the company has spent the past year developing our resins and printers to engage key industry partners including Fortune 500 companies Halliburton, Honeywell, and General Electric. Adaptive 3D delivers solutions to industrial problems that were not solvable in the past because of lacking materials technologies.

i. Walter: Dr. Voit is the CEO, the founder and a member of the board of Adaptive3D Technologies. As the Chief Executive Officer he is positioning the company as the premium additive manufacturing supplier of photopolymer resins. Dr. Voit has previously served as Chief Technology Officer of Szygy Memory Plastics and also cofounded cochlear implant company Qualia. Additionally he is a tenured professor at The University of Texas at Dallas, where he has raised over $30 million in research funding from DARPA, NSF, NIH and a range of large companies, which supports a lab of over 30 researchers. He also serves as President of the Council on Ionizing Radiation Measurements and Standards. Dr. Voit has a BS in computer science and a Masters in artificial intelligence from UT at Dallas, and he holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
