Community & Non-Profit
We work to preserve and promote food culture around the world. Our audience is the food, drink, travel and hospitality TRADE (not consumers). We are a non profit organization/trade association.
large hero image responsive design light: whites and our color palette (see discussion of the 5 channels below), no oppressive black clean, modern, fresh, dynamic, professional big images, sans serif fonts, easy to read
What to avoid
DO NOT USE BLACK AS A MAJOR COLOR - ok as a font color, but NOT as a background for the 5 channel colors, please use the eye dropper tool to get from the attached document (use the PDF lookbook. the channel pages are Connect, Gather, Act, Grow, and Gather). instead of drop-down menus, consider using the image carousel to serve as the navigation tool. drop-down menus do not look good when laid over a hero image, buttons in the header are fine if there is no drop-down
must be eye-catching and create a huge impression, we want people to come to the website and say "Wow, this is an excellent organization." needs to be modern, professional, clean needs to be intuitive - easy for people to figure out where to find what how will the user get from home page >>> to a product channel >>>> to a product page? we are a small organization but we do a LOT. people always get confused about what we do because we do so much. we need to present enough on the home page that excites people without overwhelming them each of our 5 channels has its own color we use an arch as a consistent design element in all of our collateral. The arch needs to be incorporated into the design. the arch and the 5 channel colors are included in the attached PDF (use eyedropper tool to get the 5 channel colors correct and the angle of the arch)
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Web page design starts at $599.
