Capri on via Roma is a new shopping centre located on the Isle of Capri, Gold Coast. Our web site will be designed to showcase the very picturesque surroundings of the shopping centre, and will showcase the architecturally (award-winning) beautiful buildings of the centre. Our web site will be a voice for our tenants to reach out to viewers. Our web site will serve to attract new customers to the shopping centre. The web site will serve to bring to the attention of both new & existing customers information about events at the centre AND specials that tenants might be offering to their customers.

The yellow is vibrant and part of the building design, logo and overall brand; it therefore must be a feature of the new site.

We are after a new website that is both tablet and phone friendly. You can see what we currently have at http://www.caprionviaroma.com. Use it for information and content purposes only, do not reproduce the same. We are happy with the single page scrolling design but are also open to other options. It is important that designers show us how any features such as slide outs, hovers, etc will look. The landing page should feature amazing photos. It should include a highlight area for events or awards. It should include social Media links It should include the tagline "Unrivalled Waterfront Shopping Experience" Some of our features that set us apart from our competitors: 175 undercover carparks w/travelator access to the shopping centre Prime waterfront location 24 / 7 fitness centre onsite 8 marina berths Waterfront dining Full line supermarket Artisan food operators under the one roof 37 retail operators The other sections of the site are ABOUT, RETAILERS, MEDIA, EVENTS / SPECIALS, GALLERY, LOCATION and CONTACT The main focus should be on our retailers and showcasing upcoming events but we also want an image gallery and an innovative way of displaying this. We are looking for the WOW factor but remember it must be a functional design for PC's, tablets and phones.

Avoid boring!

The web site should not be bogged down with slow loading script or animations. We will need to make regular changes to the content, so the design of the web site should facilitate this. The opening screen is vital. We need something that screams READ ON & COME & VISIT US.
