How hannah_rand started their web page design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I am a copywriter for fashion brands - digital, in-house manuals, social media campaigns. I work at some of New Yorks best boutique creative agencies and have worked at fashion brands from Marc by Marc Jacobs to Amazon Fashion. I have about 10 years experience writing and editing fashion magazines, including Vogue UK and Australia, GQ, Time Out, News Corp, Channel 4.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
Open to ideas but I'd like it to be slick more than gimmicky. Really just looking for a cool way to promote my agency work and somewhere to store my journalism work for reference. I like the Bat for Lashes article that appeared on Pitchfork.com as I really haven't seen long copy presented like that before. Other than that, I prefer a Tumblr approach. Most of all it needs to be authoritative - most fashion brands (or any brands) just want the details (ie: direct links to portfolios, contact numbers etc) and then be able to browse around afterwards. I work in NYC and London.
Homepage should have immediate contact details and brief about who I am, with recent examples of copywriting work and/or logos of brands I have worked with.
One page needs to hold my print work too
