Todd.goldfarb got their new web page design by running a design contest:
website design for Worldwide Tipping Point
Check out Todd.goldfarb's Web page design contest…
Worldwide Tipping Point is currently producing a global tele-series that will be released in October 2011. We will be interviewing 30-40 top thought leaders in various industries to ask some of the most important questions of our time, including: • What is happening on Planet Earth right now? • What is the meaning of all the breakdowns we are currently seeing across culture? • What are the most important breakthroughs and how can we collectively shift our energy towards them? • What can people actually do in their individual lives to manifest the types of changes they want to see in the world? We are garnering incredible speakers, luminaries in business, technology, media, religion, science and spirituality. This will be a one-of-a-kind web event that will reach over 10 Million email names by November 2011.
Hi everyone, I received 3 designs so far, and clearly people have talent on here (so I want a winner to transpire)…and interestingly the 3 designs were more complex, and probably harder to do then what I need. So here is a better description of my needs for Worldwide Tipping Point: The homepage LAYOUT should be almost identical to the top half of this website: http://www.2011tappingworldsummit.com/tws_video/registration.php A video will be the main attraction for my landing page. Where the Tapping Summit Page I just showed you has a white box next to the video saying ‘A worldwide event’, on my website this area will be an opt-in box, where people can give their name and email, with some language. So please design the layout appropriately with a video and then an opt-in area to the right of it. In terms of the artistic design…..the website I showed you above (http://www.2011tappingworldsummit.com/tws_video/registration.php) has a futuristic human image with meridian points and a map of earth in the design background. For MY website, I would love to have a cool, futuristic, digital-type image of the top hemisphere of planet earth be the background…and it should peak somewhere slightly above the video/opt-in box. At the peak of earth, there should also be a light coming out of it that denotes this ‘tipping point’ I am talking about. Right above this beaming light should be the Counter (right now it says 1,669…look at my current website to understand the significance of the counter www.worldwidetippingpoint.com) Above the counter, at the top of the site, should be the logo scrolling across that just says the website name: Worldwide Tipping Point. The only other feature of the homepage are 3 tabs that need to be placed somewhere: Speakers, The Counter, and Blog. I think its probably best to have these 3 tabs below the opt-in and video. A few notes: I LOVE the colors used in The Tapping Summit site I’ve referenced here. I also love ZEN-looking websites with not a lot of busy-ness going on. This should be really simple, crisp, powerful looking. Thanks, I hope this helps and I am looking forward to the designs! Todd
The Tipping Counter It is important the designer understands the significance of the ‘Counter’ on the page. Every time somebody opts-in the counter will tick a notch. The mission of putting together this tele-series is not just to get some great content to people, but there is also an intention around getting millions of people (100 Million by December 2012) signed on. Our thinking is that human beings are headed towards a collective ‘tipping point’ where reality will change on this Planet in a very real way. The Counter is a significant part of the tele-series and needs to be prominent in the branding.
